March Books

Hi Guys!

Today i’m sharing all the books i read in March.

Want to Know a Secret? by Freida McFadden – It took me awhile to get into it, but once i did it was a good read. I gave it 4 stars.

Two Women Walk Into a Bar by Cheryl Strayed – This was a free kindle read and that’s the only reason i read it. It was ok, i gave it 3 stars.

My Evil Mother by Margaret Atwood – Another free kindle read. It was kind of weird, but i gave it 3 stars.

Her Perfect Family by Teresa Driscoll – I felt like it kind of went on and on, but it wasn’t bad for a psychological thriller. I gave it 3 stars.

The Teacher by Freida McFadden – You probably know by now that i love Freida McFadden’s books. This was no exception, i didn’t really like the subject matter, but Freida sure knows how to write. I gave it 4 stars.

Mr. Popper’s Penguins by Richard and Florence Atwater – I read this book aloud to my children. We all really enjoyed it. I gave it 4 stars.

Bible Infographics for Kids by Harvest House Publishers – I also read this book aloud to my children. It was good and i gave it 4 stars.

Those are all the books i read in March. Have you read any of them? What did you read in March?

Life Update

Hi Guys!

The last time i posted was 2 weeks ago. Things just started to get chaotic once we started remodeling our house. (I talked briefly about it in my last post)

We finally have the new flooring put down in the main areas of our house, but we still have 3 bedrooms to put the new flooring in. The kitchen was the worst area to remodel.

I can’t wait to show the before and after pictures, once everything is complete.

I should be back to posting regularly soon. Until then i hope you are all doing well.

Take Care,

Weekly Recap

Hey Guys!

I’m back with another weekly recap.

I do hope you are enjoying these weekly peeks into my life.

We have been having really beautiful warm weather. The kids enjoyed playing outside with bubbles and a new sprinkler we got.

We have started another home project, this time we are redoing the flooring throughout the main parts of our house. So basically my house is a complete disaster right now, but that’s ok. It will eventually look good.

One of my daffodils bloomed and my tulips are all growing well. We also started planting some different things for our garden.

I’m not sure if i shared this yet or not, but my baby is officially crawling now! He started crawling shortly after he turned 8 months old.

How was your week? Anything fun or special happen?

Current TBR Pile

I recently went with my daughter to Barnes & Noble and it was very hard to resist ALL THE BOOKS! I ended up leaving the store with only 4 new books, which is impressive for me. Anyways, so today i thought i would share all the books that are currently in my to be read pile.

How To Sell A Haunted House by Grady Hendrix – I’m actually reading this one right now. I’m about 10 chapters in, and so far i’m enjoying it.

Sherlock Holmes The Novels by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle – I’ve always wanted to read these books. I’m super excited about this one! Have you read it before?

The Moving Finger (A Miss Marple Mystery book 3) by Agatha Christie – I’ve already read books 1 and 2 in the series. I dare say i think i like Miss Marple better than Poirot. What about you?

The Words We Lost by Nicole Deese – As you can see, most of the books i read are mystery/thrillers, so this is out of my comfort zone. Hopefully i will like it, as i have read really good things about it!

What’s in your tbr pile? Have you read any of these books?
